Emergency Situations
In case of an emergency, promptly dial 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department. Rest assured; we are here to assist you.
The following conditions are treated in emergencies:
- Chest pain or discomfort
- Serious fractures or injuries
- Difficulty breathing or experiencing shortness of breath
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Persistent vomiting or diarrhea
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Vomit that is deep green in color
- Sudden or severe pain
- Head injury accompanied by loss of consciousness or vomiting
- Deep cuts or wounds
- Access to After-Hours Care
After Hours Access to Care
All outpatient providers contracted with SelectHealth offer 24-hour phone coverage for SelectHealth members. When contacting your provider outside regular hours, you will be connected with either the contracted provider or a covering provider of the same or similar specialty.
